i hate you :nono: because now I discovered the looser test and I'm a certified looser big sad ... Thank you for leaving kind comments on my guestbook tho ! Your website is such a vibe and I really relate to that "age: 27 " in the bio I added you as a neighbour if you don't mind (and sorry if it looks scuffed, I'll do a V2 of my home page at some point) My favorite song of the moment: + sargasso + :nerd:

Thanks for adding my button to your homepage, I added yours to my homepage too And thanks for sharing your music recommendations! I don't listen to metal at all because it's just too overstimulating for me but I can imagine jamming out to this lol!

Hi neighbor! As a space-enjoyer, I loved the visual direction here the second I clicked on your page. And we're both scorpio rising, what are the odds Neopets avatars on your homepage? The Carpenters, TLC, and The Wombats in your favorite albums? I love to see it. Keep up the good work! (currently listening to "close to you" on repeat btw!)

Thank you so much!! Scorpio rising must be the cause of the yearning, lol! Close to you is such an amazing album, if you like it I recommend checking out The Crux by Djo as well, it really reminds me of that album!

Your site is so cool!! I love the space theme with the undertale references and it all feels so cohesive and well done. I love all the meme references too lol. I'm glad you're enjoying the indie web so far! I joined last year in august in the same way you did, just stumbled across a youtube video and decided I wanted to build a website right then and there. It has definitely helped in the journey to minimize algorithms and mindless content. There are still challenges because social media is still so strong, but the indie web helps! For music, the past year I've been stuck on 70s-90s pop/funk from the middle east and northern africa. Recently I've been coming back to Rüya Çağla and playing Lambada on repeat. Her music really resonates with me!

Hi Anna! thanks so much for writing in my Guestbook. I adore your website, it's so cute and pretty and neat! Also props for making your site responsive, that seems like so much work to me lol. Thanks for your music suggestion! I don't think i would've ever come across Rüya Çağla if it weren't for your suggestion. Reminds me of the music our old turkish neighbours used to play. Really cozy vibe. J-Lo and Pitbull sampled Lambada in Ön the floor", no? Memory unlocked! That's so interesting, I love hearing what songs inspired others.

Sick site theming, love the dithering so much! =D Also for songs I can't decide between "Concrete Over Water" by Jockstrap or "Ahhhh, These Chains!" by Mid-Air Thief, both such amazing and melancholy feeling songs =)

Thanks for your message AVQ! You suggested such whimsical sounding songs. Thank you, those are just the type of recommendations an algorithm won't give you. I'll check out both of those bands a little more in the future :3

Hihiii!! really loving your site, the splash page is SO FUN I adore the vibes immensely. I cant wait to see what more you'll do with your site in the future!! Keep up the great work! As for music, I've been coming back to some Fall Out Boy records lately, and really enjoying So Much (for) Stardust, both the album itself and the song by the same name!!

Thank you so much Phi, it means a great deal to me! Love the lay-out of your website and I love that we have matching starry backgrounds. I actually used to listen to fall out boy so much back in school lol, but I've never listened to So Much for Stardust, thanks for sharing! I'll have to make some time to listen to the whole album, I totally missed this release.

i love the style of your website welcome to nekoweb and the indie web in general, i'm excited to see where your site goes from here! i love finding music enjoyers who actually share the music they like. my fav song rn is probably either Close Your Eyes by The Backseat Lovers, or Skin by Jigsaw Youth. two very different songs, but good in their own ways

Replied on: May 5, 2025 at 7:32:51 PM

omg thank you so much for your kind message! I totally forgot about The Backseat Lovers, I listened to them quite often a few years ago! I don't think I ever listened to Close Your Eyes tho but it's beautiful. I really like pool house and sinking ship by them. I also listened to Skin and though it's not what i usually listed to it's a banger. Thanks for your recs!!!!
