Currently my favorite song is bleed out by the mountain goats, because I find myself in this state often. I am one that does not bend my morals for anything, which is why I find myself suffering much more than most people. I don't care if it pays off, I just care about dying like this, unbroken by the status quo. Well, mostly. We are all part of the noosphere. Everything is beautiful, even the darkest of moments, which is why being alone is better. Maybe no one will remember me, but I hope that I can make someone remember me. I'm glad you're enjoying the indie web so far! I joined last year in august in the same way you did, just stumbled across a youtube video and decided I wanted to build a website right then and there. It has definitely helped in the journey to minimize algorithms and mindless content. There are still challenges because social media is still so strong, but the indie web helps! For music, the past year I've been stuck on 70s-90s pop/funk from the middle east and northern africa. Recently I've been coming back to Rüya Çağla and playing Lambada on repeat. Her music really resonates with me!
